About
Credere is Latin for “I believe” or “trust” and is the root of our modern word “credit”. Argentum is Latin for “silver” or “money”. We hope these words, together, are the guiding principles of this website.
We commit ourselves to being your most trusted source on personal finance. We want to build trust with our readers in our advice and analysis about personal finance and money, in particular focusing on how the average person can make better use of credit and debt.
CredereArgentum is written and administered by Andy T. Andy is an Economics and Consumer Education teacher at a college prep high school in suburban Chicago, IL.
